Why did I develop the sippy straw brush cleaner?

I am a stay at home mom that has tackled the never ending battle of trying to clean out the curded milk or molded apple juice from my children's sippy and thermos straws. I tried using toothpicks, pipe cleaners, Qtips, even small paintbrushes .. always with minimal success. I never felt confident that it was clean enough to have my children drink through it again. After throwing away TONS of expensive sippy cups because of dirty straws, I came up with the idea for a mini straw brush cleaner.

What is the sippy straw brush made of??

The brush has a nylon bristle tip with a rust free stainless steel wire handle. I have added a plastic polypropylene handle to make it easier for holding and scrubbing.

Which brand of sippy straw cups can I use the brush on?

After much testing, I can personally guarantee that the straw brush cleaner will universally fit ALL major sippy cup straws. In addition to sippy cups, it will clean thermos straws, accordian straws, sports bottle straws, and standard drinking straws.

Why does the sippy straw brush cleaner come with two brushes?

While we believe you will only need one brush for cleaning your straws, we have included a second brush that you may find other items you've needed a small brush to clean. Some of our customers have told us they use the small brush for jewlery and keyboard cleaning.

How do you know the product is BPA (bisphenol-A) free?

Because I too am a mother, I only wanted to develop a product that was safe for both me and my children. The Sippy Straw Cleaner underwent weeks of laboratory testing in New Jersey for verification of its compound makeup. I am happy to report that the Sippy Straw Cleaner is not only FDA approved, but BPA free and meets all the requirements of the US Consumer Product Safety Regulations.
